Evidence-Based
Nutrition Counseling
Fueling for the sport of life
Julia Trifan MS, RD
Hi, I’m Jules!
I’m a public health nutritionist and registered dietitian dedicated to helping you feel strong, resilient, and confident in your body at every stage of life. I hold BS in Dietetics, a Masters in Nutrition Science from Boston University and completed my clinical training at a Level 1 trauma and safety‑net hospital, where evidence-based care and real-world complexity shaped the way I practice today.
My career has centered on clinical research, keeping me deeply connected to the latest in nutrition science. What I love most, though, is translating that knowledge into practical, sustainable strategies that help my people thrive.
My affinity to nutrition started early. I grew up in a Spanish family where food was culture, identity, and an important way we showed up for each other. That foundation, paired with years of pushing my own limits in sport (basketball, track, powerlifting, and now triathlon training), taught me that food isn’t just fuel. It’s a tool for strength, resilience, and living fully. That perspective drives my work: I want to help you cut through the noise, understand your body, and build self efficacy with how you nourish yourself.
My approach is compassionate, supportive, and straightforward—because nutrition should empower you, not overwhelm or confuse you. Together, we’ll build habits that honor your goals, fit your lifestyle, and leave you feeling confident and capable of sustaining those skills for a lifetime.
