Fueling for the sport of life
Julia Trifan MS, RD
Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a registered dietitian here to help you feel strong, resilient, and confident in your body, no matter what stage of life you’re in. My passion lies in teaching people how to support their bodies through nutrition while building sustainable habits to thrive long term.
I earned my Master of Science in Nutrition Science from Boston University and completed my clinical training at a Level 1 trauma and safety-net hospital in Boston, MA. Beyond clinical training, the core of my professional work has been in clinical research. Needless to say I stay up to date on the latest in nutrition science, but what excites me most is translating that knowledge into real-life strategies that work for my clients.
My love for nutrition began with my own journey as an athlete. From basketball and track to powerlifting and now triathlon training, I’ve learned that food is more than fuel, it’s a tool for building strength, resilience, connection, and joy. This mindset shapes my approach: helping people break through barriers, reconnect with their bodies, discover what they’re capable of, and feel at peace with the way they nourish themselves.
Whether you’re chasing a race PR, navigating pregnancy, or simply wanting to feel better day to day, I’ll meet you where you are. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and trauma-informed, because nutrition should never be a source of stress, though, for many it has become exactly that due to the constant “food noise” around us. Together, we’ll build practical strategies that are goal oriented while honoring your body, fitting your lifestyle, and leave you feeling confident, capable, and at ease in your own skin.
